HTF Hyper-Thin-Film dewpoint sensor technology offers significant advantages over conventional aluminum oxide technology. With a sensitivity about 300 times larger, it offers substantially improved accuracy, stability, speed of response and virtually drift-free operation in clean gases. Model XDT is available in three executions: XDT-NEMA, for outdoor and hazardous area installation (hazardous area certifications optional); XDT-DIN, for panel mount applications and XDT-OEM for integration into existing enclosures. All models feature the same electronics and user interface. Dual alarms with programmable hysteresis and isolated 4-20mA are standard. Sensors are freely exchangeable between instruments. Optionally available are RS-232, NIST traceability and hazardous area approvals.
Loop-powered (2-wire) Dewpoint Transmitter Model LPDT
Model LPDT is a loop-powered transmitter with the full feature set of a regular instrument, i. e. a local display and full user interface. The LPDT is available with optional NEMA 4X (IP 65) protection and is ideally suited for integration into sample systems or OEM applications.
Model XPDM is a portable dewpoint meter with integrated sensor dry-storage. The compact, light-weight and rugged design and an extremely fast response, make the XPDM the instrument of choice for spot checks of moisture in the field or for laboratory use.
The XPDM is available with hazardous area certification.
Proper sample handling and conditioning is an absolute necessity for a sound measurement of dewpoint. Our modular extractive sample systems provide cost effective solutions for even the most demanding applications. Our sampling systems are available with many "smart" features, such as automatic self-calibration or automatic sensor protection.
Sample systems are available with hazardous area certifications.
The Xentaur Moisture Calculator is an easy to use and powerful Windows® program that lets you convert moisture units and calculate dewpoints and partial water vapor pressures at different total pressures.
The calculator even lets you make conversions with moisture concentrations by weight, using the pre-programmed molecular weights of many frequently encountered gases or simply, manually entered molecular weights.
Unit conversions can be made using the following most popular formulas, with or without the Greenspan water vapor Enhancement factor: Goff Gratch, Clausius-Clapeyron, Hyland and Wexler, Sonntag, Magnus.
