NEW HOUSTON FACILITY
Houston, TX - COSA is happy to announce the opening of its new Houston, TX facility on April 1, 2002. Located at 7125 North Loop East, in close vicinity to the Ship Channel and centrally located to many of our major customers, the new building comprises 9000 square feet of office, laboratory and warehouse space.

ONE SHOT KARL FISCHER REAGENT
Norwood, NJ - October 15, 2002. COSA Instrument Corporation announces the One Shot, Aquamicron AX01 Karl Fischer Reagent, specifically designed for single charge use. One Shot is pre-measured for one charge and is easy to use, eliminating wastefulness. Quick, economical and ideal for portable coulometric Karl Fischer instruments such as Mitsubishi’s CA-21 model, the One Shot is the answer to moisture measurement needs in the field and in the lab. It is designed for Transformer Oils and other Hydrocarbons and can be used in a wide range of industries: Refineries, Utilities, Chemicals and Petrochemicals.

AQF - COMBUSTION ION CHROMATOGRAPHY PREP-STATION
Norwood, NJ - COSA is introducing a new, revolutionary way of preparing samples for Ion Chromatography. Based on decades of experience with combustion techniques for elemental analysis, DIA Instruments, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, recently completed the development of a fully automated sample prep-station, which is used in lieu of sample preparation by oxygen bombs. The controlled combustion in a high temperature furnace speeds up sample handling and throughput while improving measurement quality and reducing cost at the same time.

MISSION CRITICAL MOISTURE SYSTEM
Houston, TX - COSA has recently introduced a new moisture system, which was designed for Mission Critical applications, i.e. applications where moisture measurement really counts. Taking advantage of the quasi-linear, highly sensitive response characteristics and fast response of HTF™ moisture sensors, the new Xentaur Moisture Analysis System Model ESS-SVP provides on-line sensor calibrations against a certified reference gas. The system is close to maintenance free and with a measurement accuracy of ±10% of ppmv, it is suitable for real process control applications.

PORTABLE DEWPOINT ANALYZER FOR NATURAL GAS MEASUREMENT
Houston, TX - COSA announced the shipment of the first batch of its new portable dewpoint analyzer for natural gas measurement. The new analyzer takes advantage of the the large and quasi-linear response of Xentaur HTF™ sensors, which are tolerant of typical natural gas contaminants, such as glycol carry-overs and H2S. The analyzer model XPDM-NG is an high-speed analyzer, equipped with a pressure regulator, coalescing filter and Glysorb filter for added protection. The analyzer weighs less then 5 pounds and has a built-in drying chamber for sensor storage in between samples.

YAMATAKE HGC HEATING VALUE TRANSMITTER
COSA recently concluded a distribution agreement with Yamatake Corporation of Japan for it's Gas Heating Value Chromatograph Transmitter. The Yamatake transmitter is a "plug and play" device, the size of a fist that packages the capabilities of a full on-line chromatography system. With a repeatability of ±0.04% and a 5 year warranty, it will change the way industry thinks about chromatography.

MEASUREMENT OF HENRY'S LAW CONSTANT IN HYDROCARBONS WITH WATER CONTAMINANT
Norwood, NJ - COSA Instrument announces successful measurement of Henry’s Law Constants for a wide range of hydrocarbons. Using a novel experimental set-up incorporating Karl Fischer Titration and Dew Point measurements, Henry’s Law constants are determined and validated. The pilot plant system provides full function (temperature, flow, drying, wetting and measurement) enabling application specific calibration. This approach enables more reliable solutions for hydrocarbon producers with their moisture measurements needs. ROBERT PREUCIL JOINS COSA TO LEAD ITS PROCESS INSTRUMENTATION DIVISION
Houston, TX - COSA annouced today that Robert Preucil has joined its management team as the Manager of its Process Instrumentation Division. "We are very excited about the addition of Bob to our team. Besides his wealth of experience in the marketing of process analyzers, Bob brings the creative energy that we need to achieve our business objectives, said Dave Thomas, Cosa's President. "Bob will be a very significant contributor to our company". Bob Preucil was formerly with Siemens Applied Automation Division.

NEW FACILITY FOR XENTAUR COPORATION
In order to strengthen its engineering support for our company, our sister company, Xentaur Corporation, has moved to a new 12,000 sft. facility in Yaphank, NY. The new facility comprises a machine shop, manufacturing and assembly stations, calibration laboratories and a large environmental chamber for testing instrumentation under simulated climate conditions.
